Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Aqariyo (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Aqariyo.

2. The Platform

Aqariyo is a global online travel agency for hotel bookings, long stays and staycations. We connect travellers with accommodation offered by hotels, serviced residences, operators and accommodation suppliers ("Partners"). Aqariyo is not itself an accommodation provider, and other than where we act as merchant of record for a booking, we are not party to the stay contract between you and a Partner.

3. User accounts

• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Rates, availability and property information

Partners and accommodation suppliers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of their rates, room descriptions, photos, availability, taxes, fees and on-site policies. Rates and availability are supplied in real time and can change or sell out before a booking is confirmed. Prices may be converted for display; the currency charged is shown before you confirm. Misleading, duplicate or fraudulent content may be removed without notice.

5. Bookings, payment and cancellation

• A booking is confirmed only when we issue a confirmation with a booking reference.
• The rate plan you select governs meal plan, prepayment, amendment and cancellation rules; these are shown before payment.
• Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded once confirmed, except where required by law.
• Check-in requirements, deposits, city taxes and resort fees may be collected directly by the Partner.
• You are responsible for valid identification, visas and travel documents for your stay.

5a. Accommodation partners

• You represent that you hold the licences and permits required in your jurisdiction to offer accommodation.
• You will honour confirmed bookings, published rates and stated cancellation policies.
• You will not collect or use guest data beyond the booking it relates to.
• You will pay any commission or distribution fees due to Aqariyo on time.

6. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or unlawful content.
• Scrape, copy or resell Platform data without written permission.
• Use the Platform to harass, defraud or solicit users.
• Interfere with the Platform's security or availability.

7. Content ownership and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit (property content, photos, reviews, applications). You grant Aqariyo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content on the Platform and in related promotional materials for as long as the content remains active on Aqariyo.

The Aqariyo name, logo, design system and software are owned by Aqariyo and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Fees and commission

Booking prices shown to travellers include Aqariyo's remuneration unless stated otherwise. Partners pay commission on stays distributed through Aqariyo; commercial terms, billing cycles and refund terms are described in the partner agreement or at the point of purchase and may change with notice.

9. Third-party transactions

Except where we act as merchant of record, the stay contract is between you and the Partner. Aqariyo is not responsible for the performance of Partners, the condition of a property, on-site service, or the outcome of any transaction.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aqariyo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aqariyo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid Aqariyo in the twelve months preceding the claim, or the value of the booking giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Aqariyo harmless from any claim arising out of your bookings, content, breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of Doha shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
